Sompo Thailand joins the activity "TIBA Mangroves Forest Planting 2025"

     Samut Prakan, Thailand – February 7, 2025 – Sompo Insurance (Thailand) PCL. (Sompo Thailand), a global provider of non-life insurance participated in TIBA Mangroves Forest Planting 2025 organized by the Thai Insurance Brokers Association (TIBA) at the Royal Thai Army Nature Study Center (Bang Pu), Samut Prakan. This initiative was led by Ms. Duanden Choenchitsiri, Executive Consultant, along with Ms. Apinya Hengprasert, Chief Commercial Officer and team from Sompo Thailand.

     TIBA Mangroves Forest Planting 2025 is organized for companies in the insurance business to participate collectively, strengthening good relationships among TIBA, its member companies, and key stakeholders. This initiative aligns with efforts to expand and develop the insurance sector, while contributing to environmental restoration through mangrove planting. The project focuses on reviving forest areas, particularly in the Chao Phraya River estuary, which has been impacted by economic and social expansion.
