Sompo joined the 4th “O I C: Be Smart First Jobber”

Hat Yai - 21 July 2025, Sompo Insurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a global provider of non-life insurance, by Mr. Paiboon Sirikulthanasup, Hat Yai Branch Manager and team represented the management team and staff in participating and activity booth set-up in the 4th “O I C: Be Smart First Jobber event at Prince of Songkhla University, Hat Yai Campus.

The “OIC Be Smart First Jobber” activity is a continuous project by the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), which is currently in its 4th year to provide knowledge about the roles and responsibilities of the non-life insurance business and its importance in various aspects, including building an image for the insurance business, Including creation the image of the insurance business, which most students may remember the image of a career in the insurance business, especially insurance sales or insurance agents and brokers. The project has created understanding in new perspectives by communicating to show that the insurance business is a business that is a good opportunity for students, both in directly related fields such as actuarial mathematics and statistics and other fields that the insurance industry needs, such as data engineering, law, finance, public relations or medicine (to design insurance policies), etc.
