BANGKOK, Thailand – February 24, 2025 – Sompo, a leading global provider of commercial and consumer property and casualty (re)insurance, today announced the appointment of Rintarn Tantikunakornrat as Chief Human Resources Officer, Sompo Insurance (Thailand) PCL. (Sompo Thailand) with immediate effect.
In her new role, Ms Tantikunakornrat will be responsible for leading Sompo Thailand’s Human Resources (HR) function; and driving the development and implementation of people strategies to support business objectives and foster a positive employee experience.
Ms Tantikunakornrat will report to Mr Lee Murphy, Chief Human Resources Officer, Asia Pacific (APAC), and Mr Aditya Vardhan Tibrewala, Chief Executive Officer, Sompo Thailand.
Mr Murphy said: “We are excited to have Khun Rintarn join the team to lead and guide in delivering strategic HR people and organizational initiatives. With her extensive experience in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, Khun Rintarn is perfectly placed to drive engagement and effectiveness, aligning with business goals both locally and regionally. She will join the APAC HR leadership team.”

Ms Tantikunakornrat joins Sompo Thailand from DLA Piper Thailand and worked previously at HSBC Commercial Banking and AIRA & AIFUL where she held senior HR roles.
In addition to a Master of Science degree in Management from the Colorado Technical University, USA, Ms Tantikunakornrat also holds a HR Management certification from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
